In the quiet town of Sakuranomori, a close-knit group of friends prepares to say goodbye to one of their own. Sana Hidaka has to leave his peaceful hometown and move to bustling Tokyo because of his parents’ work. Though it hurts, he must part ways with his dear friends: gentle Aoi Oribe, spirited twins Shuri and Shuusuke Wakatsuki, and lively Nanaka Yatsushiro. Even as he hesitates to leave them behind, he clings to the belief that distance won’t erase the memories they’ve made together. Five years pass, and Sana, now sixteen, returns to Sakuranomori hoping to pick up where he left off. But while the town itself feels familiar, his friends have changed in ways he doesn’t recognize. Dark undercurrents ripple through their lives, and hidden struggles strain the friendships they once held dear.
