Hikaru Amatsuga's peaceful life takes a sharp turn when he saves Alma, a sentient mechanical arm calling out for help. Hunted and on the run, he’s eventually caught by Aki Murasame, a twin mechanical arms user employed by ARMS, an organization that safeguards the machines from exploitation. The ruthless Kagami Group, which sees mechanical arms as nothing more than tools, is desperate to reclaim Alma. ARMS labels Hikaru a failure due to his inability to naturally wield a mechanical arm, so Aki becomes his reluctant protector. But their struggle takes a dark turn when Jun Kagami overpowers Aki, ripping out her two mechanical limbs and leaving her to die. Refusing to accept her fate, Hikaru unlocks his hidden power in a desperate surge, stopping Kagami.
