Mars Daybreak - S01

Mars is nearly entirely submerged, its surface swallowed by endless oceans. People survive aboard massive floating city-ships, but life is harsh-jobs are scarce, food is costly, and the economy is crumbling. Gram and his friends struggle to get by as opportunities vanish. Desperate to fight back against the corrupt government, some have turned to piracy, including the infamous crew of the Ship of Aurora. Meanwhile, Earth's ruling government sends a new squad of military pilots to Mars, equipped with powerful mecha known as Round Bucklers, to restore order and eliminate the pirate threat. By chance, Gram winds up on the run with the most wanted pirates on the planet. The trouble is, the longer he stays with them, the more he finds himself drawn to their cause.
