Majikoi - Oh! Samurai Girls - S01

Samurai played a vital role in Japan's past, and for a high school student, having any connection to them is deeply inspiring. Kawakami City is famous for its many descendants of samurai families, and the town carries an air of determination, loyalty, and hard work. At Kawakami Academy, students embrace this legacy in everything they do-studying for tests, competing in sports, and honoring their traditions. Yamato Naoe and his six closest friends (three boys and three girls) form a tight-knit group, supporting and challenging each other. But even samurai heirs have their flaws. Their friendship has stayed strong for years, but when two new girls join their circle, things get complicated. Now, they must uphold the traditions they hold dear while navigating unexpected "distractions."
