Magical Travelers

Five girls, including Yui Tsukishima, are pulled into the late Edo period by the magic of mysterious jewels called Hojous. They take the place of the previous Tennyo, who fell in battle, and now use their powers-along with "the Power of Word"-to fight against two demon brothers intent on wiping out humanity. At the same time, the story follows Utamaru Katsura, a serious Rakugo storyteller determined to turn Yui-an upbeat, carefree girl-into a skilled professional in the "art of Rakugo." In short, it’s a comedy built around the punchlines of storytelling.
