Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka - S01

Three years ago, a savage race of interdimensional creatures called the Disas invaded Earth, leaving destruction in their wake. Ordinary weapons were powerless against them, so humanity's survival depended on a group of girls who gained magical abilities by forging a pact with the Spirit Realm-the same force that had pursued the Disas to Earth. After a brutal war, the magical girls prevailed, and the remaining survivors became known as the "Magical Five." Once the war ended, the Magical Five went their separate ways. Kurumi Mugen, Mia Cyrus, Tamara Volkova, and Lau Peipei each resumed their military careers, while their leader, Asuka Ootorii, retired to live as an ordinary high school student. But her peace doesn’t last. It turns out some of the enemy survived, and with magic being the only way to fight them, Asuka is forced back into battle as an even greater threat approaches.
