Magical Girl Raising Project - S01

In N-City, many girls dream of being magical girls, and for most, the online game "Magical Girl Raising Project" is the closest they'll get. But for a lucky few, like Koyuki Himekawa, the fantasy becomes real when she’s chosen to transform into her in-game avatar, Snow White. Along with other selected players, Koyuki starts using her powers to help people-until a new message arrives. The game’s administrators announce they’re cutting the number of magical girls, and whoever earns the fewest "Magical Candies" each week (rewarded for their heroic deeds) will lose their abilities. When the first eliminated girl suffers a real-world tragedy, the others learn the horrifying consequences of losing. As more are forced out and the rules grow increasingly twisted, the girls discover their supposed "contest" is really a brutal battle for survival.
