This short pilot film blends the worlds of "Creamy Mami" and "Heavy Metal L-Gaim" by placing Yuu Morisawa, the heroine of "Creamy Mami," into a mecha setting. After dying in a car crash, Yuu is resurrected as Pony Metal U-GAIM in a story inspired by "Astroboy." Set to an upbeat J-pop track, this quirky genre mashup was an experimental project by studio Anime R. Due to copyright issues, the full series was never produced, leaving only this pilot and a few pieces of merchandise behind.
