Macross II: Lovers Again - S01

In the year 2089, eighty years after Space War I reshaped the lives of humans and the Zentraedi, the two races now live in peace on Earth. But that peace is shattered when a new alien threat, the "Marduk," emerges in the Solar System. During the first clash between the U.N. Spacy and the Marduk fleet, rookie SNN reporter Hibiki Kanzaki encounters Ishtar, an "Emulator" whose singing amplifies the Marduk's combat prowess. Hibiki takes Ishtar to Earth, hoping to teach her the meaning of life and culture. Alongside elite Valkyrie pilot Silvie Gena, Hibiki and Ishtar must find a way to stop the Marduk leader Ingues from annihilating Earth.
