M3: The Dark Metal

A group of children meet in a shadowy void called the Lightless Realm, forming a bond before being torn apart and sent back to their own world. Years later, they reunite to battle monstrous beings known as "Admonitions," which emerge from the same void, piloting robots called "Vess." Despite their efforts, they can only delay the relentless spread of the Lightless Realm as it slowly consumes their dimension. Their struggle takes a grim turn when a new enemy appears-a "Corpse," said to carry a deadly song that kills anyone who hears it within nine days. When the group hears the "Corpse Song," they each begin to withdraw, consumed by personal struggles, and their growing divisions jeopardize humanity's last hope.
