In the near future, Kei and Ai are on the run for their lives. Ai is a young girl carrying a dangerous secret that could unravel the world as they know it. Society is now filled with "Headmeters"-people with psychic abilities whose strength is displayed on their foreheads during combat. Kei, once an experimental subject, struggles with his powers, never surpassing level 5 while others easily outmatch him. But when Ai is in danger, Kei can momentarily push his abilities beyond all limits. Their pursuer hides a dark secret of their own, aided by a dwarf-like man inside a mechanical suit. When Ai is captured, Kei teams up with a detective inspired by Sherlock Holmes and a former enemy Headmeter who switched sides after witnessing Kei’s terrifying power surge through Ai. Together, they must rescue Ai and uncover the truth behind her secret. Who is she really, and what is the mystery she holds?
