Rikka Takanashi is a high school girl who sees herself as the "Wielder of the Wicked Eye," believing she possesses supernatural powers hidden beneath her eye patch. She spends her days indulging in elaborate fantasies, pretending to battle unseen forces-much to the exasperation of her older sister, who just wants her to act like a normal teenager. When Yuuta Togashi, a boy who once shared her delusions but has since outgrown them, transfers to her school, Rikka latches onto him as a fellow "warrior." Though Yuuta tries to discourage her eccentric behavior, he finds himself reluctantly drawn back into her world of make-believe. As their odd friendship grows, Rikka struggles to reconcile her fantasies with reality-especially when her past and the true reason for her eye patch begin to surface.
