Let's Go Karaoke!

Middle schooler Satomi Oka should be celebrating his choir group's second-place finish in a national competition, but he sees it as a personal failure. With graduation looming, his role as choir leader is nearly over, leaving him unsure of what comes next. Then Kyouji Narita, a slick gangster, approaches him with an unusual request-he needs Satomi to teach him how to sing. Every year, Kyouji and his crew compete in a karaoke contest where the boss forces the loser to get an embarrassing tattoo. Desperate to avoid humiliation, Kyouji begs Satomi to help him pick the perfect song and improve his voice. Though hesitant, Satomi sets aside his doubts and agrees to coach Kyouji. But whether this unlikely pair can overcome their struggles-or end up worse off-is anyone's guess.
