Legend of the Galactic Heroes: My Conquest Is the Sea of Stars

Four months before Count von Lohengramm of the Galactic Empire clashed with Yang Wen-li of the Free Planets Alliance at the Battle of Astarte, he was still known simply as Reinhard von Müsel. Though the youngest admiral in the Empire's history, his peers scorned him, dismissing him as nothing more than the brother of the Kaiser's favored concubine. When Reinhard arrives at Iserlohn Fortress with his expeditionary fleet, he is swiftly given orders by Fleet Admiral Gregor von Mückenberger-a cunning and ambitious superior-to intercept an Alliance fleet in a nearby starzone. Reinhard recognizes the mission as a thinly veiled attempt to get him killed in battle, but he obeys regardless, leading his exhausted crew into combat in the skies of the gas giant Legnica. What he doesn’t realize is that this encounter will be the first of many fateful clashes with the man later known as the Hero of El Facil.
