Kotaro Lives Alone - S01

One day, manga artist Shin Karino meets his new four-year-old neighbor, Kotarou Satou, who gives him a box of tissues as a gift. Karino finds Kotarou strange-the boy speaks in an oddly formal way and lives alone in his apartment, with no parents or guardians around. But Kotarou doesn’t seem bothered by his situation and prefers not to depend on others. Worried about the boy, Karino follows him to a bathhouse to make sure he’s safe. There, he realizes Kotarou isn’t so different from himself. Gradually, Karino-along with the other people in their apartment building-starts to warm up to Kotarou and his quirks. Meanwhile, Kotarou may have found something like a family in these unusual neighbors.
