Komi Can't Communicate

After a lively and unforgettable cultural festival, Shouko Komi keeps working toward her goal of making a hundred friends with the help of her classmate Hitohito Tadano. When winter arrives, their class gets a new addition: Makoto Katai, a student who looks like a delinquent and has been absent since the start of the school year. Though his rough exterior might scare people off, Katai struggles with talking to others and simply wants to connect with his classmates. As new bonds take shape and old ones grow stronger, Komi and Tadano's friendship starts to shift-maybe in a good way.
