Kiznaiver

Katsuhira Agata is a withdrawn high school boy who barely feels pain anymore. His childhood friend, Chidori Takashiro, struggles to recall what he was like before this strange numbness took hold. Now, Katsuhira's passive, unresponsive nature makes him an easy mark for bullies who extort money from him without consequence-their blows barely make him flinch, as if even his emotions have dulled. One day, Katsuhira, Chidori, and four others are kidnapped and forced into the Kizuna System, becoming official "Kiznaivers." The system links them through shared pain: any injury one suffers is felt equally by the rest. They’re now unwilling test subjects in an unfinished experiment meant to foster global unity. With their lives forcibly bound together, the Kiznaivers must confront their deepest selves or face consequences far greater than the system’s failure.
