Kemonozume - S01

For centuries, creatures called Shokujinki have lived hidden among humans. Though they appear human, they can transform into monstrous beasts with enormous claws, driven to devour people to survive. The Kifuuken dojo, equally secretive, exists to hunt and kill Shokujinki by severing their arms, standing as the only barrier against their unchecked spread. Toshihiko Momota, heir to the Kifuuken, is instantly drawn to a mysterious woman named Yuka Kamitsuki. But their connection is fraught with danger-unbeknownst to either, Yuka is a Shokujinki, and Toshihiko is bound by duty to kill her. Meanwhile, the Kifuuken faces internal strife as Toshihiko's brother, Kazuma, challenges tradition and pushes to modernize their methods. With emotions running high and long-buried secrets coming to light, the question remains: who will survive, and who will fall prey to the Shokujinki's hunger?
