Kakushigoto

Kakushi Gotou is a moderately successful manga artist whose work is known for its risqué humor. When his daughter Hime was born, he decided to hide his profession from her, fearing she would be disappointed if she discovered the truth. Driven by this paranoia, Kakushi goes to absurd lengths to keep his secret. Though a single father, he does his best-posing as a salaryman every day, running emergency drills in case Hime ever stumbles into his workplace, and bending over backward to maintain the illusion. "Kakushigoto" follows the quiet life of a father and daughter as they navigate their delicate balance. But as the saying goes, "there are no secrets that time cannot reveal." Eventually, Hime must face the truth behind the lies that shaped her childhood.
