Jungle King Taa-chan - S01

Ta-chan is the self-proclaimed king of the jungle. After being abandoned in the savanna as a child, he was raised by a chimpanzee named Etekichi. He has a devoted wife, Jane, who was once a top model in New York-though her appearance has seen better days. To protect the animals from poachers, Ta-chan fights alongside his disciple, Pedro, and a Chinese martial arts master named Ryo. The anime, based on the manga of the same name, starts as a lighthearted parody of Tarzan, with the first few episodes leaning into comedy. However, the tone shifts later in the series, becoming more serious.
