Jungle Emperor Leo

This film follows the second half of Osamu Tezuka's classic tale about a white lion's journey to rule the jungle. Leo's young cub, Lune, grows curious about humans after finding a music box in a crashed plane. Meanwhile, a ruthless treasure hunter called Ham Egg leads a rough crew in search of the legendary Moonlight Stones, said to solve the world's energy crisis. Two eccentric humans-Dr. Moustache and Lemonade-attempt to halt Ham Egg's reckless destruction of the jungle. When a deadly virus spreads among the animals, Dr. Moustache steps in with a cure. The story builds toward a perilous climb up the mythical Mt. Moon, where the fate of the jungle hangs in the balance.
