Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night

Mahiru Kouzuki, a talented artist, abandons her passion after her elementary school classmates mock her vibrant jellyfish mural. Years later, she meets Kano Yamanouchi-a former idol with her own struggles-who admires Mahiru’s work. Inspired by Kano’s encouragement, Mahiru decides to revisit her childhood dreams. When Kano asks her to design the mascot for JELEE, her new music project, Mahiru recruits her childhood friend Kiui Watase, a professional streamer, to help create JELEE’s first music video. They’re joined by Kim Anouk Mei Takanashi, a pianist and longtime fan of Kano’s idol career. Together, they set out to make JELEE a worldwide success. But to achieve their goal, they’ll need to confront the burdens of their pasts.
