In Search of the Lost Future

Kaori Sasaki, a member of Uchihama Academy's Astronomy Club, confesses her feelings to Sou Akiyama-only to die in a car accident that same night. Her friends gather at the hospital, grieving her loss, but the next day, Kaori returns to school as if nothing happened. No one seems to notice anything strange. The day passes normally, and the club prepares for the upcoming cultural festival. Then, without warning, a strange earthquake shakes the room. The group scatters to investigate, leaving only Nagisa Hanamiya behind. As she lingers, the peculiar relic-like cube she had been fiddling with begins glowing an eerie blue. Meanwhile, Sou discovers an unconscious, naked girl lying in a pool of water. "Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete" follows the Astronomy Club as they navigate increasingly bizarre events-encountering ghosts, mediating conflicts between student clubs, and piecing together the mystery behind a mysterious new transfer student.
