Idol Project - S01

Fourteen-year-old Mimu Emilton dreams of becoming an idol, just like her inspiration, Yuri, who now serves as Earth's President. Every year, the Starland Festival draws hopefuls from across the united planet, with Yuri herself urging new talents to join the ranks of the "Excellent Idols." But Mimu's path to stardom is anything but smooth-no matter how hard she tries, she always misses her audition due to a string of mishaps (often involving awkward wardrobe malfunctions). Luckily, the current Excellent Idols keep rescuing her from these predicaments, and she soon becomes friends with them. Just as Mimu finally steps onto the stage to perform, an unknown alien group abducts her and the idols. What follows is a chaotic journey across dimensions, where Mimu finds herself in a position to save the world-if she can muster the confidence to believe in herself.
