Hurricane Polymar - S01

Yoroi Takeshi is an easygoing but somewhat clueless young man who assists Kuruma Jo, a clumsy detective who insists he’s destined to become the next "Sherlock Holmes." They operate a struggling detective agency out of a dingy office, barely scraping by. Nanba Teru, the spirited daughter of their building’s owner, often barges in to hassle them about Jo’s unpaid rent-which is perpetually overdue. With few clients, they resort to snooping on the Secret International Police Department across the street to scrounge up cases. What Jo and Teru don’t know is that Takeshi hides a double life. Not only is he the son of the police chief, but when danger strikes, he dons his "Poly-Met" (Polymer Helmet) to become "Hurricane Polymer," a red-masked superhero with unmatched strength and combat skills. The only one in on the secret is his laid-back Saint Bernard, Daisaku, who sarcastically narrates their antics in his own thoughts. Between Jo’s delusions of grandeur and Takeshi’s secret heroics, the duo tackles everything from crime syndicates to mutants in the futuristic city of Washinkyo-a blend of Washington and Tokyo.
