Hungry Heart: Wild Striker

Kyousuke Kanou has spent his life in the shadow of his older brother Seisuke, a celebrated Japanese soccer star. Expected to match his brother's talent, Kyousuke struggled under the pressure and eventually fell behind, leaving him bitter and disillusioned with the sport. Now starting high school at Jouyou Akanegaoka, he swears off soccer for good. But Miki Tsujiwaki, captain of the girls' soccer team, and Mori Kazuto, manager of the boys' team, see something in Kyousuke he doesn't see in himself. Both push him to return to the game, each with their own motivations. Faced with their encouragement, Kyousuke must decide-walk away from soccer forever or rediscover his passion and chase his dream of becoming the world's greatest striker.
