In beach volleyball, aces don’t win games-victory depends on finding that one partner you can truly rely on in the sand. This is the lesson Haruka Oozora learns after moving to Okinawa to live with her grandmother and her cousin, Kanata Higa. While exploring the beach one day, Haruka sees a group of girls practicing beach volleyball and gets pulled into a casual game. Things take a serious turn when Narumi Tooi, one of the players, spots Kanata approaching the court. Despite their crushing loss, Haruka finally understands why her cousin has been so withdrawn. Kanata and Narumi were once an unstoppable beach volleyball pair, but Kanata stepped away, believing her short stature held Narumi back. Now, with the Junior Tournament approaching, Haruka must quickly learn the ropes of competitive beach volleyball and help Kanata face her fears about the sport she once loved.
