HaNaYaMaTa

At 14, Naru Sekiya feels overshadowed by the fairy tale princesses she admires and the confident girls around her. Her childhood friend Yaya Sasame plays in a school rock band, while Tami Nishimikado serves on the student council. Naru longs for the courage to change but struggles with her timid nature, wishing for a "magic key" to unlock her potential since starting high school. One night, she spots what she thinks is a fairy perched on a torii gate, who invites her to dance. The next day, Naru learns the "fairy" is actually Hana N. Fountainstand, a transfer student from America. Hana, thrilled to reunite with Naru, asks for her help in starting a yosakoi dance club-a lively Japanese dance style Hana has loved since childhood. Though nervous about dancing in front of others, Naru gradually gets swept up in yosakoi and Hana's passion. Together, they chase Hana's dream, learning that even a hesitant girl like Naru can find her own path-one that shifts like the wind.
