Hammerboy

Mangchi is a small boy with a magical hammer that helps him overcome any obstacle. He lives on the remote island of Candlestick, one of the few habitable places left after a devastating catastrophe turned most of the world into a wasteland. When Princess Poplar of Jemius is chased by the conspirator Moonk’s henchmen, Mangchi joins her side, determined to tap into his hidden strength to protect humanity. The film first screened at the Big Apple Anime Fest on August 30, 2003, and was later released widely in South Korea on August 6, 2004.
