Hakumei and Mikochi

In a world where people are just a few inches tall, two young women-Hakumei and Mikochi-share a cozy home inside a tree. Hakumei is a spirited, tomboyish carpenter, while Mikochi is a gentle, more refined tailor. Though their personalities differ, they live together harmoniously, enjoying their quiet lives in the forest. Their days are filled with work, leisurely adventures, and trips to Tsumiki Marketplace by the sea. Along the way, they meet all sorts of friends, from talking animals like Iwashi the weasel to other tiny folk, including the singer Konju and the tinkerer Sen. "Hakumei to Mikochi" offers a peaceful glimpse into the daily lives of its two leads as they explore their miniature world, which feels like something out of a storybook.
