Graveyard Kitaro

Kitarou is a youkai boy born in a graveyard, the last surviving member of the Ghost tribe aside from his mostly decayed father. His left eye is missing, though his hair usually hides the empty socket. He works to maintain peace between humans and youkai, often defending humans from the schemes of other supernatural beings. This adaptation draws from the original "Hakaba Kitarou" manga, the work that later inspired the well-known "Gegege no Kitarou" series in the 1960s.
