In 2041, the Freeport Space Station crashed into Earth's atmosphere, triggering the "Great Cataclysm"-an environmental disaster that turned the planet into a polluted wasteland. Struggling survivors fought over dwindling resources until humanity vanished entirely. Meanwhile, life endured on a moon base, originally built as a staging point for Mars exploration. Over time, it evolved into a thriving city called "The City of Eden," now seen as humanity's best hope for a permanent lunar colony. By 2267, Takeru is just another citizen of Eden, racing hovercraft-like vehicles in illegal "Tube Races" between gangs. After causing a crash, he’s sentenced to community service outside the city. While completing his punishment, he discovers ruins that could reveal the hidden history of Earth and Eden’s origins.
