Flip Flappers - S01

Cocona is an ordinary middle schooler living with her grandmother, still unsure what she wants to do with her life. One day, she meets an odd, lively girl named Papika, who drags her into an organization called Flip Flap. Before she knows it, Cocona is pulled into Pure Illusion-a strange, dreamlike world-where she helps Papika search for crystal fragments. After finishing their task, they’re thrown into another corner of Pure Illusion, where a monstrous creature attacks them. To fight back, the two use their crystals to transform: Cocona becomes Pure Blade, and Papika becomes Pure Barrier. Just as they try to defeat the creature, three rivals from another organization intervene, killing the beast and stealing a piece of its remains. Realizing they’re outmatched, Cocona and Papika understand they’ll need to sync their emotions and work together if they want to survive Pure Illusion and face their new enemies.
