Drifting Home

After his grandfather Yasuji passed away, Kousuke Kumagaya drifted apart from his childhood friend, Natsume Tonai. Though they once lived like siblings in the same apartment building, Natsume’s refusal to move on from the past has strained their relationship. The news that their old home will be torn down only deepens the divide between them. When Kousuke’s friends hear rumors of a ghost haunting the abandoned complex, they drag him inside for a look. There, he runs into Natsume, and the two argue over Yasuji’s old camera. She snatches it and runs, but just as she’s about to slip off the roof, a sudden downpour engulfs the building, flooding the area. Now adrift at sea with the apartment complex as their ship, Kousuke and Natsume find themselves cut off from the outside world. If they ever hope to return home, they’ll need to mend their broken bond.
