Dream Eater Merry - S01

Yumeji Fujiwara, a high school student, has the unusual ability to see people’s dreams. Though the visions are hazy and indistinct, he can predict them by sensing the person’s "aura." While he usually uses this as a playful trick on his classmates, he himself is plagued by the same nightmare every night. One day, the nightmare begins to seep into his waking hours before he even falls asleep. This unsettling phenomenon is caused by a dream demon-a being from the dream world that seeks to use Yumeji’s body as a vessel to cross into reality. Just as things seem dire, he is rescued by Merry Nightmare, another dream demon who can exist in the real world without a host. Unlike the others, she wants nothing more than to return to her own realm. Now, as more dream demons threaten to break through, Yumeji and Merry must work together to stop the invasion before everyone’s nightmares become real.
