Dragon Drive

Reiji Ozora is the kind of guy who gives up on everything. No matter what he tries, he loses interest almost immediately-until his best friend Maiko gets him hooked on "Dragon Drive," a new virtual reality game. In the game, each player gets a dragon that reflects their personality and abilities. Reiji expects a fearsome, powerful beast, but instead, he ends up with Chibi, a tiny, adorable dragon that seems anything but impressive. At first, he’s disappointed-until he learns Chibi is actually the rarest dragon in the game. For once, Reiji finds something he’s willing to stick with. He throws himself into training, pushing both himself and Chibi to get stronger. But his efforts aren’t just for fun-soon, he’ll need everything he’s learned to stop those who want to use Dragon Drive for sinister purposes.
