In Penguin Village, humans coexist with talking animals and everyday objects. One of the residents, Senbei Norimaki, is an inventor with an ambitious goal: to build the ultimate robot girl. His creation, Arale, might not be what most would call "perfect." She’s extremely nearsighted and completely lacks common sense-though she does have incredible super-strength, which often causes more problems than it solves. Despite her good intentions, Arale’s antics keep causing chaos for the quirky residents of Penguin Village.
