Domestic Girlfriend

Few things hurt more in adolescence than the sting of unrequited love-something Natsuo Fujii knows all too well. He's hopelessly smitten with his cheerful teacher, Hina, but she remains painfully out of reach. At his friends' urging, he reluctantly attends a mixer, where he meets Rui, a girl as reserved as he is. Bonding over their shared awkwardness, Rui invites him home and asks him to sleep with her, hoping it will prove she's no longer a naive child. Still hung up on Hina, Natsuo hesitantly agrees. After their underwhelming "first times," they part as strangers. But before Natsuo can even process what happened, his father delivers shocking news: he's remarrying, and his new wife, Tsukiko Tachibana, is arriving soon with her daughters. To Natsuo's disbelief, those daughters turn out to be Hina, the teacher he loves, and Rui, the girl he just slept with. Now, forced into a new family dynamic, Natsuo must navigate his tangled feelings for his step-siblings as he confronts love's darker, more complicated side.
