Through the long-distance warp known as the "Exodus Project," Worns, Ryer, and the rest of the "Watchers Nest" crew escape Earth. Misaki, who was fighting in the final battle against "Ghoul," isn't with them-and before her eyes, the planet transforms, trapped inside a time barrier. Ryer and the others try to find a way out of this spacetime maze, but Earth keeps shifting into different forms. Countless versions of "now" emerge as time splinters into separate paths. Even Misaki, who should have vanished in the Exodus Project incident, reappears-more vividly than ever.
