The pain of losing someone can drive people to desperate lengths-even wishing to bring them back to life. The mysterious Millennium Earl preys on this grief, using the souls of the dead to create his mechanical weapons called "Akuma." Once a soul is bound to an Akuma, it’s trapped for eternity, and the only way to free it is through an Anti-Akuma weapon known as "Innocence." After three years of training under General Cross, Allen Walker joins the Black Order-a group dedicated to fighting Akuma and the Millennium Earl-to become a full-fledged Exorcist. Armed with an Innocence that takes the form of his arm and a cursed eye that reveals the tormented souls inside Akuma, Allen and his fellow Exorcists must stop the Millennium Earl’s grand scheme before it brings about the world’s ruin.
