Devilman Crybaby - S01

Devils need a living host to take physical form, but if a person's will is strong enough, they can overpower the demon and claim its power for themselves, transforming into a Devilman. Akira Fudou has always been gentle and frail, with a heart too soft for his own good. When his childhood friend Ryou Asuka asks for help exposing devils, Akira agrees without question. But instead of a simple investigation, Ryou leads him to Sabbath-a depraved gathering of excess and violence. As demons possess the revelers, twisting them into monstrous forms and unleashing chaos, Akira acts impulsively to save Ryou and accidentally fuses with the devil Amon, becoming a Devilman. With this power, he fights off the remaining demons. Though his new strength is immense, it stirs something primal and uncontrollable within him. Now trapped between the body of a devil and his own timid nature, Akira joins Ryou in hunting down the creatures that threaten humanity and the people he cares about.
