Demon Prince Enma

Enma, a character created by the legendary manga artist Go Nagai, stars in a gripping Japanese horror anime for adults. This eerie and sensual thriller follows Enma as he confronts grotesque and twisted crimes committed by demons hiding in the shadows. But the modern world has banished the night's darkness with neon lights, creating a sleepless society where demons now dwell in the "darkness of the human heart"-unmet desires, buried emotions, and despair become their new hunting grounds. Enma, the Demon Prince of the Underworld and a being "Born of Fire," is tasked with retrieving or destroying demons that have fled to the human world. Alongside his partner, Princess Yukihime, "Born of Ice," and the monstrous Kapaeru, he runs "Enma's Detective Agency." Night after night, they wander the city where sleep is forgotten. Unexplainable horrors unfold, crimes too vile to be human, each scene tainted with the stench of evil. And when the darkness grows thickest, Enma's flames tear through it.
