Deca-Dence - S01

In the distant future, humanity faces extinction from the sudden emergence of creatures called Gadoll. The last remnants of civilization survive within the Tank, a lower district of the massive mobile fortress Deca-Dence. While the Gears-warriors living in the upper levels-fight on the front lines as part of the Power, most Tankers stay behind, supporting the war effort by processing Gadoll meat and maintaining defenses. Natsume, however, refuses to settle for a support role. Despite her prosthetic arm, she dreams of joining the rare Tanker soldiers who fight alongside the Gears. Yet while her fellow orphans receive their work assignments, Natsume’s application to the Power remains pending. She takes a job as a cleaner under Kaburagi, a gruff and indifferent repair team leader who hides more than he shows. Though he initially brushes off her idealism, he soon sees in her the spark to disrupt the world’s rigid order. As her mentor, Kaburagi begins training Natsume for a singular purpose-to become a flaw in the system, one capable of changing everything.
