Darwin's Game - S01

High schooler Kaname Sudou gets a strange invite from a classmate to try a mobile game called "Darwin's Game." He’s never heard of it, but when he opens the app, a green snake bursts from his phone screen and bites his neck, knocking him out. He wakes up in the school infirmary with no sign of a bite and is sent home early. Though confused, he writes it off as a weird hallucination and heads for the train. Curiosity wins out, and he opens the app again. At first, it looks like a normal battle game, and Kaname relaxes-until his in-game opponent materializes in real life, hunting him down with a knife. As he flees for his life, he pieces it together: "Darwin's Game" isn’t just a game. It’s a deadly battle where losing means death.
