Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi is the first princess of the powerful Misurugi Empire. Her kingdom thrives thanks to "Mana," a revolutionary technology that manipulates light, bringing an era of peace by eliminating war and pollution. But not everyone can use Mana. Those who can't are called "Norma"-outcasts seen as a danger to society, forced to live under oppression. Angelise, like many, believes Norma should be wiped out. On her sixteenth birthday, however, a shocking truth comes to light: she is a Norma herself. The public turns against her, and the once-beloved princess is banished to Arzenal, a distant military base where Norma are drafted into service. Now, stripped of her royal status, Angelise must adjust to a brutal new life, piloting mechanical robots called "Paramail" to fight massive, destructive creatures known as DRAGONs. Yet as she battles these monsters, she uncovers a dark secret that could upend everything.
