One day, a woman named Chiyome Hesogakure arrives at the Nohara household with a child named Chinzō. She claims to be Shinnosuke’s real mother and takes him away to a hidden ninja village. There, the Hesogakure clan has guarded "the earth’s navel" for generations, sealing it with a pure gold stopper using their ancestral "Mononoke technique." If the seal breaks, the earth will wither, its rotation will halt, and the world will lose its "tomorrow." Now, Shinnosuke must uncover the truth about his origins and protect both the planet’s future and his family’s "tomorrow."
