Comic Girls - S01

Kaoruko "Chaos" Moeta is a struggling manga artist with big dreams but little success. Her stories about high school girls lack spark, her art feels flat, and her ideas fall short. Frustrated by her lack of progress, her editor suggests a change of scenery: moving into a dormitory for female manga artists. There, Chaos meets her new roommates-Tsubasa Katsuki, who draws action-packed shounen manga; Ruki Irokawa, known for her popular women-targeted erotic stories; and Koyume Koizuka, a fellow aspiring shoujo artist still waiting for her big break. As Chaos bonds with the others, she starts finding fresh inspiration for her work, fueling her creative growth. "Comic Girls" follows the everyday ups and downs of these artists as they navigate their careers. Whether Chaos will finally get her manga serialized remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: together, they’re determined to support each other and improve their craft.
