Claymore

A shapeshifting demon-called a "youma"-with a hunger for human flesh attacks Raki’s village. Into this chaos walks a silver-eyed woman carrying only a sword. She is a "Claymore," a hybrid of human and youma, created solely to hunt these monsters. When the youma kills Raki’s family, the Claymore saves him, but he is exiled from his home. With no other options, he seeks out the warrior, Clare, and resolves to travel with her. As they move from village to village, hunting youma, Raki learns more about Clare’s order and the other warriors like her. Each battle brings them closer to the demon Clare has sworn to kill-the one that drove her to become a Claymore in the first place.
