CITY THE ANIMATION

High school daydreaming is a normal part of youth, but after graduation, reality sets in-bills pile up, and college demands attention. Yet Midori Nagumo never outgrew her whimsical side, even as a university student, preferring fun over responsibility. Her polar opposite is Niikura, her so-called best friend, who’s serious and set on becoming a photographer. Despite Niikura’s discipline, Midori constantly drags her into trouble, and their antics lead them to Wako Izumi, a stubborn but scatterbrained classmate who loves snapping photos of anything amusing. The three end up sharing an apartment in City, a place where the bizarre and unpredictable happen every day as they try to figure out their lives.
