Chronus

Makoto Nakazono has always been able to see grim reapers-shadowy figures who appear just before someone's death to guide their soul to the afterlife. Knowing no one would believe him, he’s kept this ability a secret and forced himself to ignore the reapers, since he can’t change anyone’s fate anyway. But everything shifts when a reaper at his high school breaks the silence and asks why Makoto never tries to intervene. When he learns the reaper is there for his closest friend, Hazuki Horiuchi, Makoto begins to question whether he might be able to delay her death, even if only for a short time.
